Nightlife tips

Lets face it, no one has had the night of their life when they’re just not in the mood for it. Therefore it’s vital to set the mood yourself! Planning and making arrangements is half the fun, it may not have to be every detail but a vague chain of events may really help to create the right mood for a great night out! Perhaps try something different or edgy, such as a cabaret evening or a trip to the theatre, who knows you might even end up enjoying yourself! Once you’re out it’s key to enjoy yourself, do not fear what others may think (or see for that matter!), you’re out to enjoy yourself. Get to know new people, you obviously share a similar interest with the others around you which can be a great talking point when meeting new people, and who knows what it could lead to! However don’t forget those who you came with, after all they’ll be the ones who you’ll be remembering the night with, the morning after! If memory proves to be a problem, take a camera out with you! This will help capture the evening, and create the possibility of embarrassing and funny moments being caught on camera, priceless!

Nightlife bars

image-20081003-jserwpiyl5tyeewwkeb3_t_h480

There are many bars out there, to suit all personalities, tastes and needs. You may choose your bar  by the music it plays. Smaller local bars often have live music to allow local bands to promote themselves and gain fans, whilst this allows nightlife bars to gain a more friendly live vibe. However if live music is not to your taste fear not, many bars play popular songs often with a DJ to spice things up accompanied by a dance floor if you’re feeling in the mood for a quick dance! Music and set atmosphere may determine your crowd, however drinks on offer are often a more persuasive factor. Nightlife bars can range from a classy cocktail bar to an international beer bar – a bar is out there to suit every need and make anyone’s night. Don’t feel restricted to one bar, visiting many in one night can be refreshing, with a change of scenery bringing different personalities and tastes. And who knows if you try out different places you might end up finding your ideal! Dressing for a nightlife bar is easy, simply wear what you wish, there’s no pressure to dress up but you’re always welcome to do so!

Disco Party

dreamstime_337642

It’s all about first impressions – send out an invite to wow your guests and give them a little taster of what’s to come! With a disco party it’s all about dressing to impress! Whether it be a classic 70’s disco outfit or the latest sequins dress, disco clothing never dies! Don’t forget comfortable shoes, disco parties are all about dancing it’s never fun having to sit out whilst your feet recover. If the music is good but no quite your thing place a song request! Hereby you’ll get your chosen song played and be able to watch many enjoy your selection! Make the most of the music, it’s not every day you’ll get away with such moves! Don’t forget to enjoy and absorb the atmosphere, it’s not everyday the disco ball makes an appearance! Dancing may get tiring so a break to play some disco party games is always welcome. Games with a 70’s theme such as 70’s charades never goes a miss, particularly when songs are chosen! Your guests may require light refreshments too, so give them what they want! Go all out with disco party decorations from sparkly table cloths to disco themed plates, with those accessories your cooking skills may bypass!

So you’re hosting your first disco party, but where to start?! There’s plenty to sort out from invitation to music! First off you need to create a list of guests and send them all disco party invitations – remember you’ll be creating a first impression for your party through the invitations you send out, so make sure it’s the right one! Next you need to create a party which will meet these expectations so begin with turning the venue into a disco bonanza with old school 70’s disco decorations. Be sure not to forget the vital disco ball! Take time aside to consider how to entertain your guests, be it solely through music or with a mixture of music and games. Book a DJ who specialises in disco or if funds are low create a play list – be sure to take suggestions from others! Prepare games which focus especially on the theme of a disco party, for example a disco dancing competition. Supply some light snacks and drinks to ensure your disco dancers can keep up their tempo! And finally dress to impress, after all you are the host and all eyes will be on you and you’ve set the bar with your party, you just need to match it!
